Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator – Fanatics Account Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, processing, routing, tracking, and release of outbound shipments for the Fanatics account.

This position ensures that Fanatics orders are properly packed, documented, routed, and shipped in accordance with G&G standards and Fanatics' shipping, routing, and vendor compliance requirements.

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, the Logistics Coordinator serves as a key point of coordination between G&G's internal teams, carriers, and Fanatics. This position plays an important role in maintaining on-time delivery performance, shipment accuracy, routing compliance, timely communication, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Fanatics Shipping & Carrier Coordination

• Manage the daily processing and release of outbound Fanatics shipments, ensuring approved and inspected orders are shipped within required timeframes.
• Follow all Fanatics routing instructions, shipping procedures, carrier requirements, and compliance standards.
• Generate and verify shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and other required shipping documentation.
• Prioritize expedited, rush, and time-sensitive orders to meet required shipping windows and daily carrier cutoff times.
• Coordinate freight release and carrier pickups and confirm shipments are transferred to the appropriate carrier.
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively address issues that could delay an order.

Quality Control & Accuracy

• Perform final inspections to confirm order accuracy, packing quality, labeling, routing, and required documentation.
• Conduct spot-checks of completed Fanatics shipments.
• Ensure shipments meet G&G standards and applicable Fanatics vendor compliance and routing requirements.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies before shipments are released.

Order Tracking & Systems

• Maintain accurate shipment, routing, pickup, and tracking records.
• Utilize G&G Order Management and/or Warehouse Management Systems and the Fanatics Firefly system, a required Fanatics vendor platform, to process, route, update, and track order and shipment status.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation and ensure information is consistent across G&G systems, Fanatics systems, and carrier records.
• Update shipment status and tracking information as required.

Communication & Reporting

• Communicate daily with G&G internal teams, Fanatics, and carriers regarding shipping status, routing, pickups, delays, exceptions, and other issues that may impact on-time delivery.
• Prepare and distribute an accurate end-of-day Fanatics shipping report, including orders shipped, pending shipments, routing status, exceptions, and unresolved issues.
• Proactively identify and escalate orders at risk of missing routing, pickup, or shipping deadlines.
• Follow outstanding issues through resolution and communicate updates to the appropriate parties.

Organization & Safety

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Follow all warehouse safety protocols and immediately report safety incidents or concerns.
• Properly stage outbound freight and maintain an organized shipping area.
• Stack and organize empty pallets as needed.

Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, logistics, or order fulfillment preferred.
• Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager preferred.
• International and LTL shipping experience preferred.
• Experience with Order Management or Warehouse Management Systems, customer/vendor portals, routing systems, or EDI platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipment accuracy, routing compliance, and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities.
• Comfortable communicating with customers, carriers, and internal departments.
• Ability to recognize potential shipping or routing issues and proactively address or escalate them before they impact customer delivery requirements.
• Experience with Fanatics Firefly strongly preferred. Candidates without Firefly experience must be able to quickly learn and become proficient in the system.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime or later hours when necessary to meet shipping deadlines.

Language Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional education, training, or certifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

Performance Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated annually.

Compensation

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour plus overtime
