Job Description:
Shift:8am to 5pm

• Performs cardiac ultrasound exams that are used to evaluate cardiac structure and function to include 2D M-mode doppler color TEE and stress echo.
• Interprets exams for preliminary report in an attempt to identify critically abnormal findings and brings this information to the physicians attention.
• Cleans and disinfects TEE probe in accordance with infection control standards.
• Records and reports the results of all procedures.
• -Responds to calls for stat/emergency echos during hours when employee is not regularly scheduled.
• Maintains accurate and appropriate records.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred Education:
• Associates degree from an accredited school for Cardiac Ultrasonography.
• Required Certifications & Licensure:
• RDMS Certification from ARDMS or RCS from CCI is required.
• BLS Certification (AHA HSI or client).

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
